look: the right people will get it. the right people will see you and appreciate you for the person that you are. the right people won’t require you to dilute, censor, or edit yourself in order to be worthy of their time and affection. you don’t need to waste your time on people who are committed to misunderstanding you

I love the little things you do. I love when you’re protecting me in public, but in private you always need me more than I need you. I love it when we’re in bed watching a movie, we cuddle and you kiss my cheek repeatedly. 

And when we go out to eat, you always want me to try your food. Even when I’ve already had the same meal. In public you hold my hand, kiss me and always am so proud of me being your girl. When we watch a movie, you always make sure to bring a jacket. Not for yourself, but for me because I’m always cold in the movie theatre. 

When we’re together in bed, your priority is my needs. We both crave each other but you make sure I’m satisfied first. After that, everything feels so amazing. The connection, the touch, the feeling, the way you look at me. After everything, we make sure we take care of each other. 

I love you so much. No one has ever made me feel this loved. You make me feel wanted. You listen when I felt like no one else wanted to. You are my backbone to every situation. You make me feel like I’m special to you. You’re my protector. You’re everything to me. 

I love you Thaqif. I love you so much. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you and thank you for existing. You came in my life in a very awkward time, but I’m so happy you did.
